Recycling
Many organisations are actively encouraging the use of recycled aggregates in all types of construction, and Bardon Vectis is at the forefront of this activity. At St Georges Down we have a purpose designed recycling area where residual material from construction and demolition processes is recycled for secondary use on the island.

Landfill
In order that the quarry workings can be restored back to their original use, inert material is carefully placed back into the void space created by the extraction of aggregates. This is then sealed and capped, and soils are replaced.

Vehicle Workshop
Apart from keeping our own vehicles in good roadworthy condition, our workshop, which has the facility of an evening shift, is available for all kinds of HGV and private vehicle repairs and maintenance.
